Anchoring in the bay of Villefranche, the first historic regatta of the year, classic architecture of the Cote and a very special dish, prepared with Joseph in his restaurant Lu Balicu.

The boat is safely anchored in the bay of Villefranche and we indulge in the classical architecture of freshly renovated Nice, Monaco and Cannes. We join the Voiles d`Antibes, an unusual mix of classic yachts of all sizes. And then we visit Joseph, join the monthly meeting of old nissardians, sing and drink with them and go cooking with chef Nicola the most typical and for us unusual dish of couillotes de mouton, sheep testicles. Very delicious indeed!

The Cote is not yet overcrowded at this time of the year, except for the cruise ships and their passengers, who fall like crickets into small villages. Here they get distributed by buses but we wonder how it will be in the Caribbean, when 2000 tourists fall over an island with 800 souls.
